Printing to PDF

I'm getting a recurring catastrophic error when printing to pdf. I'm using
the 6.0 version of the adobe software. Excel will fail, ask me to report
errors, and then try to recover the files (there are no errors detected in
the recovered files).

I did not have this problem with prior versions of Excel...it started when
we went to 2007.

Han anyone else seen this? Does an upgrade in the Adobe software solve it?

Are you creating PDFs by printing to the Acrobat PDFWriter
virtual printer driver, or by clicking on the Create PDF button
on the Acrobat PDFMaker toolbar? If it is the former, then
Office 2007 applications should be able to print to almost any
Acrobat version. If it is the latter, then you need to upgrade
to Acrobat 8.1 or later in order for the PDFMaker toolbar buttons
to work properly in Office 2007 applications.

Another person posted earlier that Adobe Acrobat 8.0 worked well with Excel
2007, but when they upgraded to 8.1.4 things went bad when trying to print to
..pdf via Acrobat.

Microsoft has a free add-in for Office 2007 that provides "native" print to
..pdf format that is available here:
