printing to plotter

I have a client using Visio 2003. She is trying to print a file to an HP
1055CM+ plotter. We have created a custom paper size in the printer settings.
We have tried setting the print setup and page size both to this custom size.
We have tried checking the option to fit on 1 page. The print preview looked
great, but when it printed it printed out feet of paper but the drawing was
only about a 2 inch square in the middle of all that paper. Obviously we are
not doing something right. Any suggestions?

post-Service Pack 1 hotfix package - see
