Printing to XPS without using PrtDevMode?

I'm trying to automate a report printing to a specific XPS file (let's
call it R-COB.xps) without going through the print dialog. I'm doing
it in Access 97. Is there some bit of VB code that can do this for
me? Basically, what acNormal does but with the XPS writer as the
destination. Searching yielded PrtDevMode but I get the impression
that's over my head, and the article frequently mentioned in said
searches was 404'd.

A second question: Is it possible, in Access 97, to have said XPS
file automatically attached to an email message? Similar to
SendObject. I'm currently doing that with Snapshot, but would be
elated if I could somehow do it with XPS, but 97 doesn't XPS as an
output format, just a printer option.
