I've created an ER diagram in Visio 2003 for Enterprise Architects SP-2. I
am now attempting to print out the digram so it spans across multiple pages.
So far, I'm batting 0.00 in getting a full copy of my diagram to print out.
I've turned on the page break view and see that objects are sitting in the
shaded area that represents the page break. Will this cause a a problem
with printing? If so, is there some sort of way to have Viso automagically
align objects so that they are not on the page break lines? I've tried many
combinations of drawing size vs page size along with adjusting paper
orientation, but still no luck.
In case we have a Visio developer in here, here's what a user would like to
do: **enhancement request**
1) Create a diagram with little concept of paper size/drawing size.
2) If the user does decide to "view page breaks", then show them a single
black line representing how the pages will be divided based on paper
orientiation and paper size for the document.
3) When time to print, have Viso configure the necessary amount of pages
based on the paper orientation and paper size for the document.
4) Violla.
As a second enhancement request, encorporate the print zoom into the above
feature so that it autmatically adjusts the # of pages required after the
zoom.
