Printing with Backgrounds

I am running word 2004 for mac and I am trying to print out a document with
a background picture but when I go into the print preview the background
disappears and its just a white background. What am I to do?

Didn't do it, I have other pictures on top of the background and the
background is of a picture, if that helps

Your one option is to insert the image you're using for a Background
directly into the H/F - preferably resized accordingly in a graphics app.
Stack the others on top of it. There's still no guarantee that it will cover
the entire page when printed but it will print.
