Printing with TIFF files

I have created a powerpoint presentation (40 slides) with large TIFF graphics
on many of the slides (approxiamately 6.5"x7") and I would like to create
handouts. Trying to print these files causes the program to freeze and
nothing productive occurs. Importing the graphics to Word leads to the
same difficulties. Printing the graphics from Photoshop works, though, but
I'd rather not do that for each graphic. Any advice?

thanks,
M.L.

Hi M.L.

My guess is that you are using PowerPoint on system 9 or earlier.

Use Finder's GetInfo command to raise PowerPoint's preferred RAM setting.
You might need 50000 or even more.

PowerPoint 2004 does not require manual intervention to adjust memory
settings, so that could be a justification to upgrade...
