Printing word 2003 HP1200 Laserjet Duplex does not print in order

I have a standard edition of Office 2003 and win XP SP2. Prior to upgrading
to win XP and office 2003 i had Win 2000 SP4 and office XP. With manual
duplex selected when printing from word to the laserjet 1200 the system would
print the odd pages first face down and then i would remove these and place
them face down still back in the in tray and then continue printing the even
pages, providing a complete document. With the original print driver with win
XP SP2 i found that the odd pages would be printed first but if i did as
before the even pages would be printed in the reverse order making the
document useless. The only way to rectify was to hand reverse all the sheets.
In speaking with HP i have loaded in a PCL5e driver and this works for
various applications except with word. Is there a fix for this please.
