PRINTING

We are having problems printing documents that contain the word OBIT at
the top of the page. Most other documents will print. Any suggestions on
what to do?

Hi Dori,

Well, that's a new one! You say that "most" other documents print. Is
there *anything* that the OBIT docs and the others that won't print have in
common (which is not also true for the "good" docs)? Were they all created
by the same computer? On the same platform? From the same template?

If these problem docs have nothing out of the ordinary in common then I have
no idea what could cause this and my best suggestion is to try all the
standard Word troubleshooting procedures. See here:

NOTE: Since you did not bother to tell us what your OS/Office versions and
update levels are (please always do!), I'm assuming you're in X.

In addition to the suggestions above, be sure you have the most up to date
printer driver installed (see the manufacturer's website) and that you're
pointing to the correct printer in the "Format For" dialog in Page Setup.

I cannot answer your question until you tell me the version of Word that you
are using and on which operating system.

It is possible that if you copy everything except the last paragraph mark
and paste into a new document that might fix it.
