Priority Level

For the past few months Entourage has randomly marked some of my outgoing email messages as "high priority" (with the red exclamation point). I now check the priority level each time before I send a message, but I find that even messages marked "normal" before they go out occasionally show up marked "high priority" in my sent folder.

All of the email is routed to my Mac from my hotmail account.

Is there a glitch in the software? Virus?

Thanks in advance,
JRR

Neither. It's a setting either in Hotmail or a rule. Check your Outgoing
Rules.

I'm having the same problem. It is not a rule problem in Entourage - I
don't have any rules!

It's started suddenly after several years. It is clearly a glitch in either
Hotmail or Entourage.

Did you check for Mailing List Manager Rules? More importantly, when you
looked for Rules, did you look at the Outgoing tab?
