All:
I've created an appointment on our shared calendar for work using Office
2007. I invited attendees (my supervisor) and added details in the body of
the message. The details were of a personal nature and therefore, using
Office Help, I made the appointment "private."
However he suggested I put this invite on my personal calendar within
Outlook. I decided to do that and therefore tried to delete my "private"
appointment.
The rules of our shared calendar is that whomever made the entry is allowed
to modify or delete it. I never tried making a private entry in Outlook 2002
(our previous version) so I have no idea if this "problem" is related to
Outlook 2007 or not.
So my issue is that it will not allow me to even select the event, let alone
make attempts to delete it. When I click once on the appointment, it
normally highlights. If I double clicked it would open up for modification.
I would like to remove this private event from the shared calendar so it
doesn't confuse people, and it's just aggrivating that I can't modify it if I
created it.
Help!
: )
Thank you for all assistance.
