My company recently migrated to Entourage 2008 v13.0.0, and we've found that Entourage does not display any events marked 'private' on a user's shared calendar. Our policy dictates that all user calendars be shared with all other users (default user permission = reviewer), and this issue has caused major FUD.
In Entourage 2008 v12, when one user views another user's calendar, (s)he can see which events have been marked private; these appear as a block labeled "Private appointment" or "Private event." This works great.
In v13, however, when a user opens another user's calendar, the private events are totally invisible. Free/busy data *is* synced correctly from Exchange, and users are able to determine one another's availability using the scheduling tab in an invite pane. But only certain users with a high level of permissions on another calendar (Delegated editors? Those with full access permissions on the mailbox in Exchange?) can see the "Private appointment" items on another user's shared calendar.
We obviously do not want users to see the details of one everyone's private events, but we do need to retain visibility of all commitments in Entourage's calendar view.
Any help appreciated.
