Like an imbecile, I had to re-install Windoze 2000. No big deal.
Except that now, none of my Office 2003 programs will run at all.
"You have not installed a user for this program" (or something like
that) and it terminates ALL the programs. "Please run Install" Yea,
I'd really like to, but the MFPOS original disk I have for Office 2003
apparently has an error. EVERY time I try to install Office 2003, it
gets to what appears to be the last file needed, a file called
PRO11N.MSI and locks up. It eventually un-freezes, rolls back all the
installation and tells me "Cyclic Redundancy Error" on file
PRO11N.MSI.
Apparently, whatever this error is, it totally fucks your system. I
have not been able to do anything with any Office program since I re-
installed Windoze 2000.
Anyone else ever had this problem and find a solution? I'm thinking
an Apple computer sounds really good right about now...
