Prob establishing a connection with the Web server running Windows

Sharepoint with Project Server on the same server, 2003, windows server 2003,
administrator user (or any other user for that matter)

I'm getting the message "There is a problem establishing a connection with
the Web server running Windows SharePoint Services..." in the Risks and
Issues section of the Project Web Access Homepage.

I am however able to connect to sharepoint when I access it through an
individual project's workspace. Does this sound like a problem with
WSSwiz.exe if I am able to connect via this alternate process?

Did this ever work, assuming so then you need to reset the account that
accesses WSS using PSCOMPLUS.EXE.

If it has never worked, then you need a little more investigative work.

Ben, yes it did work. They applied a patch (I'm not sure which one) day
before yesterday to sharepoint and it may have either stopped something or
bungled up the account or something. I'll try your suggestion below. Thanks,
