Prob. sharing contacts via netfolders

I have set up a contact folder with individuals and groups
to share via net folders. It's Outlook 2000 and I'm not
running Exchange. The individual contacts share fine but
the groups come across without any recipients listed. Does
anyone know how to set up this share so that the users get
the groups intact?
