Problem about building a Cube for portfolio analysis

I have encountered a problem about Portfolio Analysis
Service in Project Server 2003.
The situation is like that:

I've installed Project Server without enter the Analysis
Service Server address before.
And now I'm going to setup a Analysis Service Server and
wanna try the Portolio Analyzer function in Project Pro.

Then i have a few enterprise projects published to the
Project Server.
and the do the following steps:
1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Click the Admin menu
3. Click the Manage enterprise features link
4. In the Build the OLAP cube section, select "Yes"
5. In the OLAP cube name and description section, enter
my Analysis Server and then enter a name that the system
will give to the cube when it builds the cube (i've
type "PS Cube" here) (do i need to create a blank cube
first?)
6. In the Date Range section, select the "Use the
earliest start date..." option
7. In the Date Range for resourced availability section,
select the first option and then set a range into the
future, such as "The next 6 months"
8. In the Update Frequency section, select the "Update
now" option
9. Click the Save Changes button

Then there is a field like:

Current Cube Status

The cube building process was initiated on 6/25/2004 at
10:39 AM

The message remains the same after a long long time (after
1 day).
And then i go to PWA>Admin>Manage View and Add a Portfolio
Analysis view, it said:

Unable to access the Microsoft Office Project Portfolio
Analyzer OLAP cube.

Possible Cause : The cube has not yet been built, or it is
currently being generated, or you do not have permission
to access the cube.
Database 'PS Cube' does not exist.

Have i done anything wrong or have i missed any steps to
setup the Portfolio Analysis ?

Hi,

I got this from my technical colleague.
You must set the security for the analysis folder with the software.

- Log as Administrator
- opened Windows Explorer. In windows explorer right clicked on “C:\program files\Microsoft Analysis Services\Binâ€.
- Clicked Security Tab. Clicked “Addâ€.
- Select Users, Computers, or Groups†screen: “Enter the object names to select (examples):†= (e-mail address removed).
Clicked “OKâ€
- “Microsoft Analysis Services Properties Screenâ€: “Group or user names†= ProjectToSqlAS= {selected}, “Permissions for ProjectToSqlASâ€: “Full Controlâ€=Allow{selected}; “Modify†= Allow {selected};“Read & Execute†= Allow {selected}; “List Folder Contents†= Allow {selected}; “Read†= Allow {selected};“write†= Allow {selected};
o Clicked Apply
o Clicked OK
Reboot
