Problem adding a Large Number of items to a Distribution List

Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 238569 says the
resolution is to make multiple distribution lists. C'mon
folks I know I'm not the only one with more than 165
people in a distribution list in my Outlook. Any idea on
how to handle this?
