Problem adding a Porfolio Analyzer view

Hi,

I am using MS Project Server 2003. When trying to add a new Portfolio
Analyzer view, I get the following error:

Unable to access the Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Analyzer OLAP cube.

Possible Cause : The cube has not yet been built, or it is currently being
generated, or you do not have permission to access the cube.

Database 'EUCube' does not exist.

I have tried the following to try and identify the exact source of error.

(i) I made sure that I created the OLAP prior to view creation. ( Cube is
named EUCube ) and that generation of the tube is completed. If I log in as
myself , I still get the error. But another system administrator does not get
the error.
(ii) I have made sure that I have all the permissions to access the cube. If
I log in with my own profile to project server on someone else’s computer (
another system admin ) , I don’t get the error. However, going back to my own
computer I still get the same error.

Another thing is I’m not usually the company system admin. But I was just
recently given such permissions so that I help deploy and use MS Project
Server 2003. I’m left thinking that may be there are some special settings
one needs to do to system admin setup in order to work successfully with
Portfolio Analyzer. We have been working with the company system admin to try
different settings with little luck.

Hence, we are now seeking assistance as to what the problem could be

A few questions:
1. Are you logging into PWA via a Windows Authenticated Account or a
Project Server Account?
2. Is the machine you are using to try and view the Portfolio Analyzer on
the domain?
3. When you logged into PWA via someone else's computer did they log into
Windows first and then you logged into PWA via a Project Server Account?
4. Under Manage Roles in Analysis Services are you specifying a group that
has access or are you specifying people one by one? If it is a group, are
you positive that you are in that group?

Thanks,

Victor
