Problem after automation

Hi All!

I have done word automation successfully. But the problem is, after
completion of writing and saving the automated document, when i open
it in ms-word and add new lines....and apply some formatting like font
color, size, bold etc. it applies to all the document
automatically....and even if apply bulletting ....whole document get
belletted.

Any help will be higly obliged.

Which version of Word is this?

Do you see anything similar when you work in Word manually, without
automation?

Does your automation do anything with styles?

What you describe sounds as if a style (probably Normal) is set to
update itself automatically. This was a default setting in Word 2002 for
that style which caused a lot of grief. The property is still there in
later versions of Word, but isn't activated for "Normal" by default. It
is activated for the TOC styles, however.
