After reverse publishing my website back to my hard drive and opening it
with FP 2002, I am unable to navigate through the file system. I can open
and edit one.htm file but If I try to open or navigate to a second .htm file
(this was no problem when I created the web originally) I get a dialogue box
saying "Frontpage has encountered an error and needs to close" and asks if I
want to send an error report. FP then closes. I did a google search to
figure out how to reverse publish but I have not found any info on this
particular issue.
thank you!

Go to this site and download the free version of WS_FTP LE along with
instructions, and then start using FTP to upload and download your site and
your problem will be solved as well as speeding up the whole process. Once
you download your site with FTP and update and the upload the site using FTP,
there would be no need to ever download the site again. Just upload changed
pages and delete unused pages.
