Problem . Blank timesheets

B

Brian Duper

We have been using timesheets for a few months now .. aside from some well
reported issues (a few exceptions here and there), it has been somewhat
reliable.

However, this Monday no one can pull up ANY timesheet (new or old). When
you click on it, the page comes back completely blank. (aside from the top
and side nav bar). There were some security updates over the weekend, but
no PS Server configuration changes. We rebooted the project application
server, no help.

MyTasks renders ok, but some users are getting that 'web parts maintanece"
error that seems to be common and caused by corrupt assignments.

We are using SP1, and are planning to install the December CU in the coming
weeks.

Seeing some non-descrpitive things in the event log, but could just be MOSS
noise:

Issue Resolved. A team member had accidentally removed the "My Timesheet"
webpart from the page. Fairly easy to do as "Project Managers" have this
pemission by default. I highly recommend folks go thru the SharePoint
permissions and dial-back a few rights or else accidents can happen in PWA>

Brian ,

Have a look at this ....

Did your SSP account password expire or change ? Or a .net2.0 security
update done ?? have a look at the blog above
