Problem connecting to project server 2003 after changing server

Hi,

I have a project professional 2003 on my laptop that was connecting to
a project server 2003 on domain A. We recently set up a new project
server at a new domain B(totally seperated doamin) but I am not able to
connect to the server with this laptop. I have removed the laptop from
domian A. I also uninstalled Project professional and reinstalled it.
Nothing helped.

I am able to access the server with PWA, in the test server connection
in Project professional it says the server is valid. I used Project
server authentication.

Any suggestions?

Thousand thanks!

Hi
Just a suggestion. This is a query pertaining to project server so I would
request you to post your query on the newsgroup dedicated to project server.

For your problem check out on the following points
1. Is your laptop member of the new domain
2. Are you having permissions to connect project professional to server.
3. What is the exact error that you get when you are connecting

Thanks a lot, Manmeet.

1. The laptop is not a member of the new domain. Does it need to be? I
have another laptop that is just in workgroup and connects fine.

2. what permission to set for the project professional to server?

3.The error says
""Cannot connect

Project was unable to establish connection with the selected Project
Server. This could be caused by a loss of network connectivity or
problems with the Project Server or database."

Since I can connect to project server via PWA, I don't think it's
network or database issue. It is connected locally.

Any other suggestions?
