Hi,
We are having problems with Project Server connecting to WSS after we
restored the WSS database after a hard disk failure.
Symptoms:
WSS Central Admin URL is valid
Sites URL is valid
WSS Admin can log onto WSS server and has correct permissions.
We have run PSComPlus to reset the WSS identity but when we go into the
Manage Windows Sharepoint Services and try to save the settings, it fails to
connect.
Sites for existing projects are OK, but creation of sites for new projects
fails.
We can synchronize the Administrator accounts and synchronize existing
sites.
WSS SP1 has been applied, and Project Server SP1 has been applied.
We have rerun WSSWiz and it still doesn't work.
In addition, we are getting spooler errors when trying to do various project
tasks from MS Project Pro and we have files stuck in the ViewDrop folder.
Could these issues be linked?
Regards,
John
