Hi
I had Outlook (2003) working fine, then my desktop XP
crashed so I kind of repaired it and re-installed office.
I setup all the Office modules but when I configured
Outlook and tried testing it couldnt find either of the
configured servers. The desktop's connectivity is using
wireless connection to Broadband ADSL but all other
browser etc connections are fine.
Using my notebook (same XP Professional, same Office)
configuring exact same settings and testing Outlook is
just fine .... ??? (my notebook connects direct to
Broadband/ADSL using the ethernet connection.
conclusion - desktop needs something ... extra in config
(it didnt previously!!) or needs wiping down and
rebuilding ..... please no ...
anybody with better ideas ???????????
