We have come across an issue when copying a chart and data from Excel to
PowerPoint when the zoom in Excel is not set to 100%.
We have worksheet in Excel which has a large amount of data onit and a
chart. Due to the amount of data on the worksheet we have to reduce the zoom
to 75% to be able to view all the required data on the screen. We then need
to copy the chart and some of the surrounding data from Excel and paste it
into a PowerPoint presentation using Paste Special to paste it in as a
Windows Enhanced Metafile.
When we do this the chart is shrunk but the surrounding data that was copied
in the same process stays at the normal size. we have replicated the process
using Excel 2002 and PowerPoint 2002 which were the previous versions we were
using and do not have the problem. We have also found that if the Zoom in
Excel 2007 is set to 100% the issue dose not occur. We have also tested
this using Word 2007 and the same issue occurs
has anyone else had this problem and if so is this a know issue.
