Problem copying chart from Excel

When I copy any chart from Excel 2000 SR3 in Word 2000
SR3, the chart is cut off at a certain point to the right.
You can not drag the chart past a certain point to
increase its size. This is also happening when copying
into PowerPoint 2000.

Any suggestions would be most helpful
