Problem creating pdf file from Excel

Using Office 2003 Excel, I can create pdf files without problem as long
as all of content uses the same font face. But if I set column and row
headings bold, and the cell content normal, then Create PDF opens a
"creating" window and hangs. The only escape is to ctrl-alt-del and
cancel Excel. If all of the content is bold, or all of the content is
non-bold there is no problem. it is only when the content is mixed that
the problem occurs. The problem is consistent and easy to reproduce. I
can attach a small example if that would be useful. The font family I
used was the default Arial font.

I can paste the spreadsheet into Word and print to a pdf printer from
Word without problem.

Your (unspecified) version of Adobe Acrobat may not be coping with Office
2003. Try checking for patches on the Adobe website, or posting on an Adobe
forum.
