Problem deleting messages---messaging interface error....

Hello anyone...

At times [can’t determine a recurring pattern] when I go to permanently
delete a message, I get an error message from Outlook which says, “The
messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists,
restart Outlookâ€.

I have tried restarting Outlook but that does not seem to fix the
problem…sometimes I am able to delete another message or two, but other
times, not.

Can someone help with a fix?
