Problem downloading 07 templates-Msoft 03 failing validation

I have genuine version of 2007 (Home Office and Student) purchased Dec 08.

But downloading 2007 templates from Msoft Office Online is failing due to
earlier version of Msoft Office Professional 03 failing validation.

Anyone know how to get round this without uninstalling the 03 version and if
I have to do so will documents produced in 03 open in 07 version?

Office 2007 can both open earlier format docs, and save in the old format.
H&S is for none commercial use and doesnt include Outlook

Uninstall 2007, uninstall the the invalid 2003, use the Microsoft
installer cleanup utility if necessary, then reinstall the 2007.
