Problem entering text into Word and Outlook

There I am haply the cursor movespily typing away and suddenly back through
the text.

Just like this.

The cursor shifts back into the text. AAAARRRGGHHHHH!!

I'm no speed typist but this puts me at one finger speed.

Any clues anyone?
