Problem: Every time PPT Viewer Mac starts, it attempts to reinstall itself - OS9/Classic w/ Word 200

Hi,

Every time you start PowerPoint Viewer for Mac, it attempts to reinstall
itself. Or Internet Explorer 5 and/or Word 2001 keeps trying to install
itself when you start it.

Is there means to avoid this known issue ?

I am sure it has been already discussed here, but please I need help.

If you have Word 2001 as part of the entire Office suite, you could just use
PowerPoint 2001 to play your PowerPoint presentations on that machine, since
it's features surpass those of the Viewer. However, if you have the
Word+Entourage package or the standalone Word boxed product, there isn't
much you can do.
