problem exporting in Access 97 with Office XP loaded

I have a computer running just Access97 and office Xp
without Access xp. when i go to export a file, i recieve a
message stating "Microsoft Access can't find the wizard,
or there is an incorrect setting in the Windows Registry".
is there anything i can do to get around this? I have to
leave Access 97 installed because of incompatability
issues with a database I use a lot. Please help. Thanks.
