I reverse engineered an Oracle schema in Visio Enterprise Architect (.NET
2003). I have made some major changes to the model - removing exisitng
tables, adding new tables and relationships.
When I try to generate the database it starts a Logical Validation. and
reports a couple of hundred errors. Coming from an Oracle background, I know
for definite that the errors being reported are not an issue. e.g. Two
different tables have the same column name but different data types. One
error actually reports this when the data types on the two columns are
identical!
Can this logical validation be disabled so that I can generate a script, or
am I doing something fundamentally wrong?
Thanks,
Mark.
