I am trying to pull a web site into FP 2003, I have FTP clearance.
However, whenever I try to import the web site there are two files
ftpquota
and
htaccess

that when the process reach them, it stops. If I want to download the
web, I have to select the files and skip those two. But if I do that
and even if I click on folders it won't download the files in those
folders unless I select the files themselves.

If I have to do it the kludgy way and download piece by piece, so be
it. Right clicking on the errant files does not work, since the
option to not publish them is grayed out.

Any ideas?

Alternately, if I use an FTP client to download the site to my hard
drive, should there be any problems with then importing that site into
FP 2003?

Use your FTP application to download the site to a folder on your HD, then open that folder as a
site in FP via the File Open Site command.

Do NOT use the import function.
