problem in excel 97 (running in windows-xp)

hello,
I have a problem in excel 97 running under windows-xp.
The display of the cell "spills" over to the next cell,
even though there is enough space in the cell.
The same file running in excel 97 under windows 97 does
not show the problem.

Does anyone know that to do?
