Dear All,

I am getting the following error while double clicking on the UML shape
(Actor).

"This UML shape exists on a drawing page which is not part of a UML model
diagram. This shape is designed to work in drawings
created using the UML Model Diagram template".

How to resolve this issue?.

Thanks in advance.

How did you create this drawing page, did you start with a blank page
of did you create a UML diagram from the New menu?
These shapes only work when created with the correct diagram type.

The answer is in the message, if you want to use that shape put it into a
diagram created using a UML template. The alternative is to make a copy of
the shape and remove the sections that refer to the addin and use the copy
instead.

I have a similar problem, caused by using a Visio2000 drawing (type ?) with
UML diagrams. When opened in Visio2003 I am not abel to change
UML-attributes. I am able to open a new UML-type drawing, but copying the
"old" UML-diagrams into the new drawing will not work as they seem not to be
compatible.

regards,
Peter
