Problem in Windows with PPT created in PPT X for MAC

I created the PPT by linking the graphics and inserting sound files. It
works perfectly on my MAC G4 with OS 10.3. I burned the PPT onto a CD.
But on a PC, the grphics show a red X and the music doesnt stsrt when
it should.

Unless you need graphics to update as the source files change, linking them
buys you nothing. Whether the graphics live inside PPT or outside it as linked
files, you still need to ship them, so the size hit's the same. And because
PPT's linking to graphics is badly flawed, the links are almost guaranteed to
break, even w/o the extra stress of jumping platforms.

Net: Embed all graphics unless you've very good reasons not to.

As to sounds, have a look here:

a presentation

Do you really mean that you linked the graphics? If so, you might check
out:

If you didn't link them but inserted them, how did you insert them? Copy
and paste is not cross-platform compatible. You should always go to the
Insert menu and choose Insert picture from file. If you have not saved
the picture as a file (e.g., you are copying it from the Web), then save
it as a file first and then insert it.
