Problem inserting additional shapes to org chart

I created an org chart on a PC using PPT 2003. I later I opened the org chart
on my husband's new macbook to make a few changes. When I tried to reopen
the document on my PC, the org chart toolbar was grayed out and I can no
longer insert shapes (subordinates, assistants, etc). Any suggestions for how
to remedy this error would be greatly appreciated!
