Problem Inserting Web Hyperlinks in Messages

I seem to have trouble "inserting" internet hyperlinks in my messages. I can
open hyperlinks in the messages I received okay, but the hyperlinks I
inserted don't work. (I select the text and click <Insert> and <Hyperlink>
and type in the url.. I've been doing this for years and it suddenly stopped
working, probably after I installed IE7).

When I click on hyperlinks that I inserted, instead of opening internet
browser, it takes me to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MAPI\1033\nt".

Any idea?
