Problem installing Business Contact Manager update.

When I try to install the update, I get an error 1306 that says that another
application has exclusive access to the file c:/Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\MSSQL$MICROSOFTBCM\Data\master.mdf. It tells me to shut down the other
applications and retry but I don't know how to determine which application to
shut down. I tried using safe mode and diagnostic mode but get different
error messages that don't allow installation in those cases. I also tried
shutting down all non-Microsoft programs but that didn't help either, or I
did it wrong. Can somebody help me?
