Problem installing Office 2000 on Windows XP with SP2

I have a computer with Windows XP with SP2 installed. I have a valid legal
copy of Office 2000. During the install, I get a pop-up window titled
"Windows File Protection" and the message states: "windows files must be
installed for your installation to proceed. Insert your Windows XP
Professional Service Pack 2 CD now." First, I have Windows XP Home. I have
tried using CD's I burnt with both Home and Pro version of SP2, no go. What's
up with this. Never seen this until SP2 came out. Anyone have a work around
or what this install really wants?
