To install, I followed the "Deploy Office with Multiple
MUI Packs"
at "http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/2003/four/ch15/IntC
02.htm"
I did the 3 steps
a) installed the English MLP starting with Office PRO
b) install the language pack (French)
c) create the MST file with the apropriate language seting
d) customise the setupPRO.ini file with at the end:
[ChainedInstall_1]
PATH=1036\mui.msi
TASKTYPE=msi
DISPLAY=Basic
CMDLINE=NOFEATURESTATEMIGRATION=True
Unfortunatly, only the English language interface is
available and the log file shows it takes the apropriate
ini file:
\\Pdmworks\Office2003\FILES\SETUP\SETUPPRO.INI
but does not chain:
Reboot: False
Successfully launched MsiExec....
10/02/2004 15:20:24 Chained install return code: 0
Looking for setup tasks to process.
Shutting down chained setup processing.
***** Setup exits
