Problem Installing Office 2003 SP3

I had a major system failure as a consequence of the failed effort install XP
SP3.

I have my system up and running with SP3 installed but have experienced a
lot of frustration reinstalling some of the other updates. My current
problem is with the SP3 update for Office 2003. Both Automatic update and
Windows update attempted to install the update and failed. I was able to
located and download the update myself. I attempted to run it and got a
similar result. The error message that pops up on the screen advises that
Office2003 SP3-KB923618-FullFile-ENU.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
Any help to resolve this issue would be appreciated.
