I have purchased Office Home and Student 2007 and installed it on one
computer but am having difficulty installing it on a second.
This is allowed, yes? I purchased the software online and so it has a
license designation of FPP (retail license) which should allow me to install
the software on up to 3 devices. (This according to the Microsoft Office
Online page, http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites/HA101655301033.aspx,
in the article section PRICING and ORDERING. The answer there, to the FAQ:
"Can I install Office HOme and Student 2007 on more than one device." is:
"Yes, if you have purchased a retail license of Office HOme and STudent
2007.")
I am having difficulty installing the software on the second computer. It
will not let me enter my 25 character product code for the Office Home and
Student 2007 I purchased. The second computer is a laptop in which Office
Home and Student 2007 was preinstalled; the software was activated for a 3
month trial period and then allowed to expire.
thanx for any suggestions.
