Recently I have tried to upgrade a few of my office
programs (Access, Project etc.. to the 2003 edition.
However, when I try to open them it says "The application
failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002). Click OK to
terminate the application." When I tried to reinstall
them it says that the installation of a service pack is
in progress and must be finished first. I tried to
install service pack 1 but about halfway through a
message says:
"Error 1328. Error applying patch to file
C:\Config.Msi\PT35B.tmp. It has probably been updated by
other means, and can no longer be modified by this
patch. For more information contact your patch vendor."
Does anyone have any idea what these messages mean and
what I can do to fix them? Thanks,
Brian
