My boss has 4 computers. Each computer is setup with a POP3 account so that
we can utilize the "Leave a copy on the server..." setting. I opted not to
join his office PC to the network because we were having performance issues.
Instead, we use the network for Internet connection ONLY. So, I used our
EXCHANGESERVER's physical IP address for the incoming mail server (POP3).
When I tested the settings, the computer found the incoming mail server but
it wouldn't log on. While connected to a standard modem (verizon dial-up),
the computer logs onto the incoming mail server with no problem. It seems I
missed a setting some where on the EXCHANGESERVER. The POP3 protocol is
enabled. Does anyone have any info?
