Problem logon PWA 2003

Q

QC

I am running MS Project Server 2003. I can logon to PWA with the
administrator account and create many other accounts with Windows
authentication. I can log with my current user domain when I click on "Log
on using your Microsoft Windows user account". But when I type in my
domain\username and password, I got "You have entered an incorrect user
name/password combination. (5002)."

Any idea???

QC:

It sounds like you're trying to enter your windows credentials into the
Project Server logon page, which is specifically for Project Server
accounts, not windows accounts. Windows authentication should occur
automatically if the system is setup correctly. With windows auth, you never
worry about entering usernames and passwords.

Hi Gary

I have the same problem as QC but when I setup Project Server 2003, I was
able to create some users and they, in turn , were able to log in to pWA
without any problems. All of a sudden, I am not able to log in to PWA anymore
using my windows authentication. I am also beginning to wonder if it has got
to do with CAL?? Any ideas? Also, when you said "... if the system is setup
correctly...", how do you think the system should be setup.

Thanks
Anand

Anand:

If you have the same problem as QC, then you should stop trying to type
Windows Accounts and Passwords into a screen intended for Project Server
logons.
