I have a user that cannot create any new rules. He also cannot make changes
to existing rules. when ever he goes to make changes, the "change rule",
"copy" and "delete" options are grayed out. Also on the check boxes next to
existing rules, when he goes to put a check mark in the box, it appears then
disappears with in a second or two. When he tries to create a new rule, he
gets the following messge,
"One or more rules could not be uploaded to Exchange server and have been
deactivated. This could be because some of the parameters are not supported
or there is insufficient space to store all of your rules". He said it use
to work but has not worked in the last six months. No changes to the system
other than loading MS updates have been applied to the Exchange server and
the user's XP computer.
We'r running Exchange 2003 with Outlook 2003
Can anyone tell me what to look for or how to fix this issue?
