Problem moving archive.pst file

I have recently mkoved over to Vista on a new PC and have nearly got
everything going. However my archiving does not appear to work. When
autoarchive runs I get the following message:

"Error while acrching store "Mailbox - myname". The file
c:\users\myname\appdata\local\microsoft\outlook\archive1.pst cannot be
opened."

I have copied my old archive file ionto the correct place, but it does not
appear to be working.

Any thoughts?

Have you checked your archive1.pst for errors?

Yes - I have run Scanpst.exe on the pst file - I can see the emails in my
archive folder in Outlook - I just can't add to them.
