Hi,
I am doing a prototype for client who wants to install Windows 2003 Terminal
Server with Office 2003 on the same machine.
I use Windows 2003 STD for the test purpose and install the trial TS service
first; then I install Office 2003 Small business edition, choosing only
Outlook, Word, and Excel. When I log in as regular user and start Word or
Outlook or Excel, I got the Error Pop Windows "The feature is not available.
Please contact your network administrator". There's only 1 ok button. If I
click that button, the office application shuts down immediately. This
problem does not happen if I log in as domain or enterprise admin.
A colleague tells me that it might be the office version (SBE) that causes
the problem. But I really doubt that Office version (i.e. SBE or OEM) can
cause such problem.
The way I install office is using Add/Remove program and Add New program
from CD or floppy. I don't understand why I can have such problem with Office
2003 and Windows TS 2003. Anyone has any idea?
Thank you for your help.
