Problem on sending merging email

I've finished merging the recipients into the document and create one document in MS-word format. I inserted the greeting line of Dear Sir and Madam,.I open the document file in Outlook 2002. When I clicked send a copy, there was an error from MS-word "An internal support function returned an error". How can I solve this problem? I would like to personalize all the email sending to recipients in my contact list.

Hi Lab,

You can execute the merge directly to email and the greeting line applicable
to each record can be included as a field in the data source.
